We highly recommend booking online in advance, as this guarantees your entry on the date of visit. Sandcastle Waterpark has a user friendly website which allows you to book your visit in advance and save money when you purchase 7 days or more in advance. There’s also a dedicated desk for guests who have booked online upon arrival at our reception. Remember,  if you’ve booked online to make your way to the Internet booking desk when you get here. However, you can also just turn up on the day and pay at reception.

A Hyperzone pass is a wristband that permits the wearer to ride the new Aztec themed slides Montazooma and Aztec Falls plus Masterblaster and Sidewinder.

Yes, there are electronic lockers in all the changing rooms and for guests with disabilities, some located on the poolside. All lockers in the changing rooms require a £2 refundable deposit. Locker wristbands should be obtained from our reception and Internet booking desks when you arrive and prior to making your way to the changing rooms.

We have three changing rooms; a family changing room for families with younger children and separate male and female changing room.

Sandcastle Waterpark is a great family day out and we encourage all the family to participate, even if it is to just enjoy a paddle in the shallow waters or float around our Ushi Gushi River. If you don’t want to take the plunge you will still be required to purchase a full price admission ticket or be part of a family saver ticket. There is plenty of seating located around the Waterpark where you can relax in a sub tropical 84 degrees and watch your family and friends on our waterslides and attractions.  There’s also free Wi-Fi throughout the Waterpark for you to access – we appreciate that some guests are unable to go in the water or enjoy the slides and attractions for example, ladies that are heavily pregnant or guests recovering from an operation or similar. With this in mind we would ask you to call us prior to your visit to discuss your Individual requirements. Please call Guest Services on 01253 343602.

Yes, our OAPs, disabled guests and their carers will receive a discount off the standard admission price.

Yes, if you have forgotten your swimwear or towels you can hire them from our Swimwear shop for £3.50 per item (£5 refundable deposit) or £5.00 for a towel and costume (£10 refundable deposit)

In the interests of Health and Safety and to prevent possible tarnishing, jewellery should not be worn in the pools, or on the slides and attractions.

We do not permit picnicking in the pool area due to Health and Safety and as we serve food inside the Waterpark. There are a great selection of catering outlets available and specialist diets can be catered for.

Sandcastle Waterpark has been designed to entertain the whole family including limited swimmers. There are a great selection of attractions available for our younger visitors, under confident or novice swimmers to enjoy. We recommend that families with small children visit at the quieter periods of the day during school holidays i.e. first thing in the morning or later on towards the end of the day, or during out of season periods – this will ensure your maximum enjoyment.

Sandcastle Waterpark is located on the South Beach area of the promenade (postcode FY41BB)  which is equipped with a council pay and display car park. This is a very busy car park at weekends and during school and bank holidays. The nearest alternative car park is on Yeadon Way (postcode FY16BF).

Blue badge holders receive 3 hours free parking at both car parks and may use any bay within the car park. Blue badges must be displayed in your vehicle showing the date of expiry and serial number, together with the parking disk/clock set at the time of arrival on the inside of the windscreen. For additional periods of time, a Pay and Display ticket must be purchased at the time of arrival and displayed next to your blue badge.
