In order to ensure that we reopen safely and ensure our employees, Guests and other visitors are kept as safe as is reasonably practicable, we have introduced additional measures for the safety and well-being of everyone.

Track and Trace is in operation at Sandcastle Waterpark. To conform with Government legislation you are required to provide a contact name and telephone number or email address for Track and Trace purposes (regrettably we cannot serve you without this Information – Reference GDPR article 6 (1) (e): Legal Obligation).

From September 24th you can check into Sandcastle Waterpark using the NHS Track and Trace system. Download the NHS App to your phone: (covid19.nhs.uk) and use the QR codes displayed around the Entrance Mall and Reception area.
Rule of 6 – When visiting Sandcastle Waterpark with friends and family who do not live with you, you should: meet in groups of 6 or less (if your booking is greater than 6, unless all persons are part of your household or support bubble, your group is required to split up and maintain the rules of 6 throughout your visit).
Face coverings – Guests MUST wear a face covering before entering our building and in all public areas. N.b, this excludes the Waterpark, whilst changing and when eating and drinking in our Catering outlets. (For exemptions please visit the GOV.UK website).
Do not book or visit if you have Covid-19 symptoms
If you, or any member of your party are displaying any of the following symptoms, please do not book to visit Sandcastle Waterpark:
- A high temperature
- A new, continuous cough
- A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
If you, or any member of your party are displaying any of the above symptoms, please call NHS 111 and follow their advice.
Our commitment to your safety
Enhanced cleaning regimes are in place throughout our Waterpark including all public areas, Changing Village and on our slides and attractions.
Hand sanitisation stations are located throughout the building and Waterpark for you to use.
Social distancing measures are in place throughout our building.
Increased air ventilation within our Waterpark.
All of our team members have received training in COVID-19 measures.
Contactless payment systems are in operation including our free Splash Cash facility.
Order food at our catering outlets and collect from our Food Collection points.
Guests are required to book their visit online, in advance.
Perspex screens have been installed at our counter.
New Changing Village
Our previous 3 changing rooms have now been combined to create our new Changing Village. These changes allow for greater space throughout our changing areas where we have also added additional cubicles and new showers to ensure guests can socially distance in confidence.
