Waterfalls Cafe and Bar, situated in the Mall, sells a range of alcoholic beverages as does the WatersEdge Snack Bar which is located inside the Waterpark.

Available in female toilets, female and family changing rooms and also in The Mall, adjacent to our reception area.

We offer bottle and baby food warming facilities at all of our catering outlets.

The use of cameras, video cameras and other devices for taking pictures is strictly controlled within Sandcastle Waterpark. Permission must be gained from the Waterparks Supervisor located in the First Aid Room before use. This policy is strictly monitored by our staff. The use of camera’s, videos and Go-Pro’s on our slides and in our pools is not permitted at anytime.

Sandcastle Waterpark is located on the South Beach area of the promenade (postcode FY41BB) which is equipped with a council pay and display car park. For full details of nearby parking facilities please visit the Council Car Park website – click here.

For guests who hold a blue disabled parking badge, you MUST have a clock on show on the dash board of your car before leaving your vehicle in the car park. If you don’t have a clock with your blue badge, please come inside the building with your blue badge and ask to speak to the Duty Manager and we will lend you a clock for the duration of time you are in the Waterpark (£10 refundable deposit required). Please be advised that the clocks will be given out on a first come first served basis and in busy periods we may not be able to give a clock to everybody as we only have a limited amount.

There is a cash machine located in the exit arcade in the main entrance area. Please note there is a charge to use this machine.

Waterfalls Café – Located in The Mall within the entrance area at Sandcastle Waterpark, Waterfalls Café serves a great range of food and drinks.

Waters Edge Kitchen– Located inside the Waterpark, WatersEdge Kitchen serves a wide range of hot foods. From family pizza meals to Burgers, Hot Dogs, children’s meals and Jacket potatoes. Hot and cold drinks are available.

Waters Edge Snack bar – Located inside the Waterpark, to the right of WatersEdge Kitchen, our Snack Bar serves a range of freshly prepared sandwiches and salads. Hot Dogs, hot and cold drinks are also available.

We have a wide range of options including Halal, Gluten Free, Lactose Free and Vegetarian foods.

SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS AND FOOD INTOLERANCE’S:

Please advise our staff, prior to ordering if you have special dietary requirements or food intolerances. Staff at any of our catering outlets will be happy to discuss Individual requirements prior to ordering.

PLEASE NOTE – Sandcastle Waterpark advises that, due to Health and Safety reasons, guests do not bring their own food into the waterpark.

For our reopening on July 25th, Sandcastle Waterpark has modified it’s changing rooms into one, communal changing village. This allows for greater social distancing and additional space for our guests.

In addition, a new shower block has been added along with new cubicles – the Changing Village is now ALL cubicle, There are single (2 guests max) and family cubicles for up to 4 guests.

Additional vanity areas and hairdryers will be available. We would like to stress that all guests will be expected to use the Changing Village, swiftly and maintain social distancing. Sandcastle Waterpark reserves the right to request that guests vacate this area if we feel excessive time is being spent in this area.

Enhanced cleaning is in operation in our Changing Village.

A fully equipped first aid room is situated on pool side with qualified and trained staff.

Hearing loops for the hearing impaired are available at reception.

Sandcastle Waterpark has been designed to entertain the whole family including limited swimmers. There are a great selection of attractions available for our younger visitors, under confident or novice swimmers to enjoy. We recommend that families with small children visit at the quieter periods of the day during school holidays i.e. first thing in the morning or later on towards the end of the day, or during out of season periods – this will ensure your maximum enjoyment.

Our Changing Village is equipped with electronic lockers which are allocated with an electronic wristband. The wristbands can also be used for Splash Cash purchases at our Catering outlets. We have small (2 people max) medium (3 people max) and large (families) lockers available.

The wristbands require a £3 deposit and this has to be added to your online booking. £2 per wristband is refunded when you hand your wristband in before you leave. Wristbands should be handed in to the team member at Treetops Trading Post to receive your £2 per wristband refund.

There are also some lockers located on the pool side for our guests with disabilities.

For our guests purchasing food and drink from Waterfalls Cafe and Bar (located in The Mall), there are plenty of seats outside the Sandcastle Waterpark for guests to enjoy their purchases and enjoy great views of the promenade.

There is a PA system available for any emergency messages. Our PA system will also be used to announce session departure times, based on the colour coded admission system, currently in place. When your wristband colour is called, please leave the Waterpark and make your way back too the Changing Village.

There is a Pram Store located outside the changing rooms. There are pram locks available for hire from the Swim Shack for extra security. The cost is £3.50 plus a £10.00 refundable deposit.

For guests not wanting to enjoy our slides and attractions, we have a selection of terraces and seating areas throughout the Waterpark offering great views of many of our rides and attractions. Why not grab yourself a drink from one of our catering outlets and watch your friends and family enjoying our slides and attractions. Entry into the Waterpark is by admission ticket, prices of which can be found on the price page of this website.

Essential items such as swim nappies, goggles and a small range of others are available to purchase from Reception. However, please ensure you bring everything you need for your visit. Towels, swimwear and floatation devices and goggles are the key essentials for a visit to our Waterpark, please ensure you have these with you.

Treetops Trading Post – A small selection of items will be available at Treetops Trading Post, pick up a souvenir before you leave!

Life vests are available adjacent to the Changing Village ramp. Please speak with a member of staff to obtain one for use. Please return before heading back to the Changing Village, we would hate for you to set off the alarm if you’ve “forgotten” to hand it back!

We have male, and female toilets located both on pool side and within the changing rooms. There are fully accessible disabled toilets located in the waterpark, mall area and changing rooms. We also have an award winning, Changing Place Facility within our Waterpark. You do not have to be a Sandcastle Waterpark guest to use this facility. If you wish to use it, simply speak to a member of our Reception team and they will be happy to arrange this for you.

Within both the Mall and Waterpark areas we have Wi-Fi access which is free of charge for all of our guests.
